When you start a new conversation in Magai, the title is automatically generated based on the current date and time. However, as soon as you send your first prompt, the AI will suggest a suitable title for the conversation.
For example, if your initial prompt is something like "hello there," the AI might select a title such as "Greetings Ahead." While this might be appropriate sometimes, you might find that it doesn't perfectly align with what you're looking for. Fortunately, Magai provides two convenient ways to change the chat title to something that better fits your needs.
Method 1: Edit Directly on the Conversation Header
Locate the Conversation Title: At the top of your conversation, you’ll see the current title.
Click to Edit: Click directly on the title. It’s an editable input field.
Enter New Title: Delete the existing title and type in your desired title.
Save Changes: Press Enter or click outside the input field to save the new title.
Method 2: Edit Through the Chat Info Sidebar
Open the Utility Tray: On the right-hand side of the Magai interface, there is a utility tray where additional conversation details are displayed.
Access Chat Info: Open the chat info sidebar by clicking on the appropriate icon or option.
Locate the Title: In the chat info section, you will see the current title of the conversation.
Click to Edit: Similar to the header method, click on the title here. It’s also an editable input field.
Enter New Title: Type in the new title you prefer.
Save Changes: Press Enter or click outside the input area to save your changes.
By following these steps, you can easily customize your chat titles to ensure they accurately reflect the content and purpose of your conversation. This flexibility helps in organizing and managing your interactions more effectively on the Magai platform.
